| 8/10/2001 - Yay! Back to Work! |

Back to our old digs. Some nice, low-key, private, forested land. Plenty of shade, easy access, sounds like a dream. We had several small children to deal with today, and a larger than average crowd to deal with altogether, but things went by the numbers. It took the crew a little while to get back up to speed, though I can't think of any particular problems to report. Just a touch of general lethargy. Hell, that's normal...
Desert Fox kept the children entertained by giving them rides on the dolly and dazzling them (blinding them into submission?) with a bounce card. I couldn't quite tell who was more amused by the situation.
Everything went pretty smooth. The horse was well-behaved, the actors were moderately well-behaved, the crew remembered how to do their jobs, and the mass of onlookers were... well they didn't drive us nuts anyways. Got the scene finished before too late and we wrapped out of there at a decent hour. Everyone was more than happy to get home and be able to do some more vegetating. The effects of the dune madness were clearly still lingering.
