| 7/28/2001 - Still Rolling |

Not a bad day today. A slight break from the sun and heat. It was partly overcast with a bit of a breeze, and not a soul complained. Questions were raised about the footage matching, but I don't think it'll be a problem. No one was particularly worried.
Despite all that, we still managed somehow to get a pretty slow start. We had a lot of horses to deal with today which certainly didn't speed things along. A few of the horses were well behaved, but a few of them unfortunately were a shade more... stubborn. To top it all off, even though the Intruder returned to us in good shape and largely repaired, the toilet plugged up today, which is always a pleasant thing for all. The majority of us had being hiking around all day with a shovel and toilet paper to take care of things, so it wasn't a herculean effort to adapt.
We got all our shots in as usual, everyone did a bang-up job. At the end of the day though, everyone crashed and crashed hard. People had been staying up late the last two nights chatting and laughing and carousing, but tonight there was nothing save the quiet drone of snoring to be heard across the plains.
