First off, I would like to officially announce that we will be having a premiere screening of
Westender for the cast and crew on June 14th, 2003 at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, Oregon. More details
will be forthcoming on this event as they are available. We encourage everyone who was involved in the movie
to show up and check it out. Chances are good that there will be enough room for everyone to bring some friends
and/or family, but we aren't sure just yet how many. We'll keep you posted on that. After the screening,
we will all be
adjourning to another location for a big after-party with booze and snacks and music and merriment and so on.

Second, we just found out yesterday that Westender was accepted into competition at the Seattle
International Film Festival!!! This is a big step in the right direction for us, and we're very excited about the
recognition. We don't have a screening date yet, but I will make that information available as soon as I can so
that we can get an enthusiastic audience to attend!
The awards ceremony for the festival is Sunday the 15th of June, so it looks like it could be a long
weekend for the Westender team. I wouldn't have it any other way.
