Rob met Morse, Brassfield, Nordhausen and Hlawaty at Corvallis High School, and began working with the M.O.B crew on various movie making projects. During his college years he played piano and keyboards on the scores for "Tumbler" and "Jacks", made by another Corvallis cohort. Then when Westender went into production, he took the role of composer, scoring his first feature film.

He currently lives in Los Angeles, continuing to work with M.O.B, and writes music for film and television.
